Pose tells the fictional story of two couples who met at Coachella Festival and, after bonding over their mutual love for dance, theatre and travel, they decided to hold an intimate double wedding where they would say I do from the balcony, hold their reception on the stage and have their party amongst the curtains and corridor of the theatre. As a child who hit her teens in the 90’s, this shoot is oh so very nostalgic. I am in love with it. All of it! Naomi (she) and Klaire (they) said I do on November 3rd 2020 at Tuffet Restaurant in Brooklyn, NY. Their beautiful intimate day came with a bohemian meets urban chic vibe with a seasonal autumnal colour palette used throughout the decor and flowers. We absolutely ADORE everything about it, from Klaire’s classy yet edgy velvet green suit, to their bespoke signature cocktails, intimate couple portraits (we love the ones captured within their ceremony area) and the awesome images of Naomi skateboarding around Brooklyn. You can clearly see that they had a ball on their wedding day. The energy and love between them bounces off these images and it has been a pleasure putting their feature together.

Oh dear readers this shoot!!!!!!!! I am completely and utterly in love with it! From the theme inspired by Martin Scorsese’s iconic film Goodfellas, to the 60s and 70s vibe to the bridal and groom party styling, the decor, the colours used, the photography edit, the location and the film. The bride’s Daughters of Simone wedding dress coupled with that beautiful long flowing embroidered veil is simply and dream and we are also HUGE fans of the bouquets too. The white of the bride’s contrasted with the pinky hues of the bridesmaids is so gorgeous.
