Well lovely people you need wonder no more as today’s gorgeous styled wedding inspiration shoot ticks the above boxes and more – boasting bridal and couple ideas that push against tradition and embrace individuality. With high end fashion focused dresses that are full of texture and movement (I see you gorgeous teal dress), makeup that incorporates the vibrant colour theme and a focus on floral art through hand painted flowers, it is shoot that certainly pushed the boundaries of what is expected from a wedding and we love it all the more for doing so.

Through this shoot I wanted to show future clients what a high fashion wedding would look like with floral textures and colors not commonly seen in the wedding world. I decided on one of my favorite palettes – cotton candy, purple, blue and pink. I hand painted the anthurium and foliage to really bring together the elements of other worldly magic that I always breath into my floral Art.

A Touch of Stardust…

Stardust is a wedding experience curated by floral artist Valen Ibarra. Stardust is filled with flower magic, editorial photography and hand painted flowers from the cosmos. Stardust began by wanting to give brides a different type of wedding/elopement experience.
Through this shoot I wanted to show future clients what a high fashion wedding would look like with floral textures and colors not commonly seen in the wedding world. I decided on one of my favorite palettes – cotton candy, purple, blue and pink. I hand painted the anthurium and foliage to really bring together the elements of other worldly magic I always breath into my floral Art.
I definitely needed a team of the most talented people in Denver so I had to reach out to my good friend Whitney Michelle and two other amazing photographers I adore. I didn’t want to stop there, I wanted to utilize all my vendor friends, some of the most talented vendors in Denver. I reached out to Miranda Grubb to help me plan everything. I had to think of who would help me capture my vision by modeling and of course I needed two of my good amazingly talented model friends Hailey Trew and Tèa Chiarelli who literally have magic in their veins. Whitney recommend Emerson and Bradon, who completed the vision and brought the edginess I was craving – the magic begun.
We shot everything in studio, with Nyriah Martinez transforming the vision with out of this world makeup looks and Raya Jones giving everyone amazing hair looks. We blasted music, danced and made a party out of it. The images, the posing, the florals looked like how it would be if you got married on Mars!!
Everything is exactly how I envisioned it and planned with Whitney and Miranda – a true representation of how your wedding can be anything you want it to be and floral Art belongs in the wedding industry.
Stardust isn’t just a one time experience. My dream team and I are going to plan another for the summer. Stay tuned and follow along for more floral Art and intergalactic magic!
