Theatrical Double Intimate Wedding Inspiration

Now I know I am biased, but we really do get sent the best content on Festival Brides. Beautiful, inspiring, inclusive content that I just love love LOVE and today’s double wedding meets styled shoot is absolutely no exception!

Featuring real life couples Martin & Adrian Pereira Sutilo and Veronica Lopez & Charlie Zafra Vicente, Love. Get Married. Pose tells the fictional story of two couples who met at Coachella Festival and, after bonding over their mutual love for dance, theatre and travel, they decided to hold an intimate double wedding where they would say I do from the balcony of a grand theatre, hold their reception on the stage and have their party amongst the curtains and corridor of the theatre. The theme was inspired by Voguing as Eva and Sarah Samoré from That‘sAmore Wedding Planners and Virginia Cano from Virginia CanoWP explain below:

LOVE.GET MARRIED. POSE is inspired in Voguing – a dance, movement and lifestyle that has helped many to live life expressing love, pain, emotions, strength and acceptance. It always moves between appearance and being, but never forgets that everyone is equal. This dance, lifestyle and cult has its roots in New York, in the 60- 80s, in ballrooms that were dance floors with theatrical design, surrounded by neon lights, glitter and tinsel fringe.

From the incredible theatrical location to the sparkle of the celebrants handfasting ribbons – we are so in love with the design and ethos of this fabulous shoot! The bride and groom’s attire is so on point and bang on trend (hello white tailored bridal suit) and we adore the dancing images.

Love. Get Married. Pose is inspired in Voguing, a dance, movement and lifestyle that has helped many to live life expressing love, pain, emotions, strength and acceptance. It always moves between appearance and being, but never forgets that everyone is equal. This dance, lifestyle and cult has its roots in New York, in the 60- 80s, in ballrooms that were dance floors with theatrical design, surrounded by neon lights, glitter and tinsel fringe, where they challenged each other with fights for style, beauty and movement, sometimes mimicking the famous catwalk, halfway between a fashion show and a nightclub. A disco ball shines above a circular dance floor lit by a group of dancers in gorgeous costumes and striking colors, moving in exaggerated model poses in a poetic dance. Pose. This is what inspired us.

The love story: Maria & Pablo and Ullrich & Otto met at the Coachella Festival and have been inseparable ever since. Their love for music and dance connected them from the beginning. Since that festival, they have done all their traveling together, and when Maria & Pablo visited Ullrich & Otto in their hometown, both Pablo and Ullrich took the opportunity to propose to their partners. Mary and Otto were so happy about this joint proposal that they immediately thought of celebrating their wedding together as well.

The engagement had taken place in Ullrich and Otto’s town, so they thought that the wedding could be celebrated in Huelva, where Mary and Pablo lived. The two couples knew from the beginning that they wanted a good party, with a lot of dancing, music and personality. They wanted something out of the ordinary, something original, and most of all, fun. They decided to each seek out a wedding planner with different styles and backgrounds to see what wild ideas would come out of such a mix. Maria and Otto got the chance to get married in the theater’s dressing rooms like real stars!

The ceremony took place on one of the theater’s top balconies, where they had an incredible view of the stage. As never seen before, the dinner took place on the center stage of the Grand Theatre, with a gaffer that set the perfect lighting , giving it all a theatrical vibe. They had the theater all to themselves where they enjoyed their company for hours, eating, drinking and dancing. Both couples were speechless and will never forget that day. AND THE CATEGORY IS….LOVE ALWAYS TRIUMPHS!!!
