Featuring a real life couple and captured in the stunning Grisons region of Switzerland, today’s bohemian styled elopement shoot is giving us all the feels.

Exploring the popular dried flower and pampas grass trends, the shoot comes with a stunning ceremony arc, a gorgeous wild flower bouquet, relaxed and cool couple styling and a warming Autumnal colour palette that is chasing away our Coronavirus blues! It is beautifully captured by Julia and Nico photography and features the gorgeous talents of wedding stylist and florist Awina Events Styling. Together they have brought the autumnal colour theme to life in a way that works in perfect harmony with the natural colours of the Grisons landscape. We love it and I have no doubt you all will too.

Look out for the wonderful free spirited bohemian vibes of the bride (her hair is just gorgeous), the pampas and dried flower ceremony arc and the incredible bridal pampas fan – what a genius idea as an alternative wedding bouquet.

Warm Colours, Dried Flowers, Pampas & Bohemian Couple Vibes…

Words by Julia and Nico

We had a great team for this session and everyone was so motivated and happy at this day. We love to inspire our future brides and grooms with this boho elopement, because we think it’s an awesome way to tie the knot. Just the bridal couple deeply in love surrounded by an amazing mountain landscape.

Our model couple was a real couple crazy in love, because it was important to us, to capture real and natural emotions. If they will marry one day, they could really imagine to elope like this.

The colours of the landscape are unbelievable in autumn in this region of Switzerland called Grisons (Graubünden). We had the idea of designing a beautiful pampas grass arc, that looked like it had grown out of the earth because the colours of the arc and the ground matched perfectly. Warm tones like brown, mustard yellow and orange fits perfectly to the autumn, our favourite season, that’s why these were the colours of the shoot. The warm sunset intensified these colours even further.

Because dried flowers and pampas grass are trendy right now and we love them so much, it was obvious to us to use them. The lovely team of Myawina created the amazing flower work, more beautiful than we could have imagined.

Ribbons should not be missing at a bohemian elopement, so the hair stylists had plaited them, besides flowers, in the bride’s hair.
