Happy Friday Lovely People and what a GORGEOUS one it is. Excuse me for stating the obvious but there is no doubting that the sunshine just makes everything feel and look better. My somewhat questionable mood from this morning was completely transformed after only a few minutes of sitting in the sun. I just LOVE it when the weather is like it is today. Summer – I am ready for you!!!!!

Just to brighten up your Friday that little bit more, we have some great news to share with our Scotland based readers today, from one of our Festival Wedding Directory Suppliers, Timber and Canvas. They are launching their very own Scotland based headquarters and to celebrate they are holding two open days at two amazing outdoor wedding venues in the breath taking Scottish countryside. The first, taking place on Sunday 13th May, is at a gorgeous woodland venue and will be showcasing their giant hat tipis. This event will have an eclectic festival wedding vibe and will be supported by over 52 suppliers. The second, taking place on Saturday 19th May on a beautiful farm surrounded by stunning views of Clyde Valley, is a much more relaxing affair and will be showcasing their gorgeous sailcloth tents and tipis. If you are Scotland based and are still on the hunt for wedding suppliers then these two events should definitely be on your hit list.

For all of our lovely readers that are not based in Scotland then fear not! Timber and Canvas are nationwide so can supply their tipis and tents across the whole of the UK. You might not be able to make their Scotland events but you can certainly still get in contact regarding their fab services and also enjoy these wonderful images of their tipis in action.

Timber & Canvas can’t get enough of the free-spirited creativity of Scottish weddings. So much so, that we have taken the plunge to launch our Scottish HQ in early 2019. To celebrate our foray into the world of stunning scenery, epic Celtic castles and big-thinking brides and grooms, we are holding not one but two open days in Scotland this May.

Cambo Wedfest…..

The first of our open days will be held at Cambo Estate in Fife. This gorgeous, film-set worthy estate is nestled in woodland close to the Fife coastal route. T&C will be showcasing their tipis from the Cambo party woodland – a unique and intimate venue with both feet firmly in the gorgeous back-to-nature surroundings of the estate. With 52 more suppliers slated to join us, there’s plenty to get stuck into. Meet us at the fair on Sunday 13th May from 3-6pm or contact us directly for special appointments on Monday 14th May.

Cormiston Farm Tent & Tipi Open Day ….

And the Timber & Canvas roadshow continues the following week from Cormiston Farm in Biggar, where we’ll be with our Sailcloth Tents and Tipis. This relaxed farm venue, with views over the Clyde Valley and super-handy links to both Glasgow and Edinburgh is an ideal location for those of you looking to escape the city for your wedding. We’ll have Event Specialists on hand to help you plan, quote on the spot, and get your ducks in a row for your outdoor event. We’ll be there from 11am-4pm on Saturday 19th May.
