Without a doubt THE BEST outdoor wedding show is BACK and is taking place on 28 April at Lattenbury Hill Weddings in Huntingdon from 12 – 3pm. Country Tipis will be erecting their three pole celeste marquee along with a triple tipi and a naked tipi. Combine that with 4 differently styled zones including a boho zone, neon zone, contemporary foliage, an outdoor ceremony setup and over 40 hand picked suppliers and you have a wedding inspiration extravaganza.
Planned and designed by outdoor wedding expert Katie Slater of Songbird Weddings, the aim of the show is for couples to start to visualise what their wedding day could be like. Katie says,
“I am a very visual person and a lot of my couples are to. I created the show because I wanted people to be able to stand in these amazing structures and feel the atmosphere that they create and picture how it could look. I love that at the show we have the variety of structures so couples can really compare the light and airy feel of the sailcloth with the atmospheric interiors of the tipi and pick the one that is best for them.”
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT AT THE SHOW…
“I actually feel so giddy about this show because there is going to be so much going on and I cannot wait for it all to come off of the page and into reality. Visually and stylistically the 4 spaces will be amazing. We have also concentrated on making lots of outdoor spaces and little chill out areas which will allow couples to enjoy the day, hang around, eat some food, listen to music and take it all in. We have 3 live bands coming, loads of different bar options, an incredible selection of caterers as well as all of your essential wedding suppliers.

A SNEAK PEEK AT SOME OF THE AMAZING SUPPLIERS…
1. COUNTRY TIPIS
Country Tipis will be the team behind the structures at this years shows and they will not disappoint. They will be putting up not only a three hat tipi, and a naked tipi but they will also be showcasing their three pole celeste marquee! This gives our fabulous stylists and general creative geniuses to whip up 4 different indoor wedding inspiration spaces in addition to all the outdoor inspiration we have in store for you!
2. MOBILE BARS
At this years show we will have bar bikes, bar horse boxes, gin bars, prosecco bars, cocktail specialists. Basically, if it can be drunk ….. we have you covered! And when these bars come packaged as well as this 1920s gem from The Thirsty Wagon, you know you are in for a treat!
Speaking of which, we will also have local Prosecco distributor, The Emissary Prosecco, at the show giving tasters of his scrumptious prosecco. Quick, make sure you drive there so your other half has to drive home (sneaky sneaky!)
3. ONE PART LOVE
I love cake, who doesn’t?! But when you find a cake artist who can combine delicious cakes with wedding styling and design like the creator of this beautiful cake then you are in for a winner. Jess from One Part Love will be with us in April.
4. PHOTOGRAPHERS
We have six fantastic photographers joining us at the show in April with a fantastic range of style and creative flare. One of the photographers is the amazing Kirsty MacKenzie who specialises in outdoor, fun and alternative weddings, which is pretty much what we are ALL about! Match made in heaven!
5. STATIONERY
Stationery, like bedding, is something you must feel before you buy it! You cannot tell online the subtle nuances in paper type and so wedding shows are a fantastic place to get some of these items ticket off of your list.
6. FOOD
We have a fantastic spread of caterers coming to this show from more formal dining options such as CDC Events all the way to catering trucks. No matter what style your food, we will have a caterer for you!
7. BRIDAL STYLE
We have incredibly talented bridal retailers joining us at the show in April including Rachel Lamb Design who creates bespoke bridal gowns. In addition we have Sweet Pea Veils launching her range of bespoke hand made wedding veils.
