I love everything about this year’s Pantone hue LIVING CORAL… an ‘animating and life-affirming hue with a golden undertone that energises and enlivens’ particularly for Spring and early Summer weddings when nature conveniently gives us lots of palatable blooms. So much so that I’ve asked for a little coral in my florals. I may have thought about a brighter lip and my honeymoon suitcase may be looking that bit more vibrant!

If you’re wedding planning, you’ve probably had the How do we make our wedding ‘us’ thought. You may have seen trends and liked elements of them, but not wanted to do something that’s been overdone or will be soon, as it’ll detract too much from what you’re about. And I hear ya! No one does you like you… so why conform? Make these trends work for you!

I’ve collated my top sources of inspo behind the creation of this post. Primarily because these images are so gorge but also because they could help you personalise your wedding plans. You never know, you might just find something that’s a bit of you!

Floral Flashes Of Colour…

I’m all for pale hues, natural and light bouquets, but a touch of colour can really add finesse to your florals and add a touch of joy to your already lovely day. Flower crowns are another way of getting touches of your fave colour into your wedding. Once the boogieing starts and your bouquet finds a new home, your crown will keep you rocking the coral vibes until the early hours.

A coral lip looks good on almost anyone, particularly against sun kissed skin, and a good lipstick wears well all day… plus – it’s ideal for the honeymoon suitcase. Never know which one to buy?
