Inspired by the wedding trends emerging from Australia, today’s styled wedding shoot by Palmer Flowers Lovelands is an absolute DREAM! We adore it and couldn’t think of the better way to kick off another week of beautiful wedding inspiration on Festival Brides, and to match the spring sunshine we are experiencing in the UK today.

Exploring the trend of creating depth and texture through ‘flower grouping,’ the ladies behind Palmer Flowers used a gorgeously soft muted pastel colour palette for their flowers and implemented a modern stylish romantic vibe within both the decor and the styling of real life couple Erika and Ben. It comes with such wonderful ideas for your wedding flowers and illustrates beautifully how arrangements can be moved and reused throughout the different aspects of your day. It also explores three different bridal looks and comes brimming with contagious smiles from Erika and Ben and fun ideas for your couple portraits.

Be prepared to be wowed lovely people. This shoot is soooooooo good. The spring like colour palette, in all its peachy, pinky, yellowy and blue glory, has our hearts singing this morning.

Look out for the floating ceremony half arch, the babies breath along the reception table and the fun ‘drunk in love’ backdrop complete with disco balls!

Spring Has Sprung…

There are many things that inspire us here at Palmer Flowers Loveland. We’re constantly having conversations about the new trends and how we can incorporate them in to our next styled shoot or even trends that we’ve seen a lot of and how we can make simple adjustments to make our brides one of a kind pieces but still achieving their wedding theme.

For this shoot specifically, we wanted to do something that we’ve never done before or even really seen before. This shoot was inspired by the weddings we’ve been seeing down in Australia; we know that this trend will catch on here in the U.S. and we wanted to get ahead of that trend so our brides know we are able to achieve that look confidently. We LOVE the grouping of flowers look at varying depths and knew that was going to be a big part of this shoot. We also wanted to maintain that romantic, modern feel, so we sourced these lovely mirrored black candle holders and black lanterns to hang and added in babies breath clouds throughout the space. To achieve the modern flare we chose to incorporate the grids throughout with our sleek white stands. We added babies breath aisle runners that doubled as table decor and finished it off with heavy white rose petals.

It was essential to us to show brides that pieces from the ceremony can double as reception pieces. This helps keep costs down and why not when you have so many beautiful flowers to move around throughout the reception!

This styled shoot gave us the ability to really think outside the box as far as colour and style goes. We’re always striving to be that florist who brings new ideas to our brides and executes them to the best of our ability!
