2020/21 Brides who are now seeking modern, stylish and fashion forward outfits for their #marrynowpartylater ceremonies, this collection was made for you. We adore it, with each piece fitting perfectly with the exciting bridal styles we are seeing emerging due to Covid-19.
Put together by fashion photographer Jacqulyn Hamilton, the collection was captured onboard a ship named ‘Lady of Avenel’ and as Jacqulyn explains, it was the perfect location to showcase this unique new collection…
Our charming location was the super cute and quirky Heybridge Basin in Essex and our amazing venue was the magnificent Brigantine ‘square rigged’ ship named ‘Lady of Avenel.’ With 102ft of expansive decks and this absolutely gorgeous location at our disposal for the day, we had an absolutely incredible, once in a lifetime experience creating a beautiful luxury bridal photoshoot for designer 29 Atelier.

One of the biggest objection’s brides have when choosing a bridal look is the cost and the one wear. I wanted to use this shoot as a showcase of how if you choose the right pieces the lines between bridal wear and fashion can be blurred and how they can, with clever styling, be worn on your wedding day and then re worn and enjoyed again and again.

Smell The Sea And Feel the Sky…
This beautiful, inspirational photoshoot was created on one of the hottest days of 2020 (and, Oh man it was HOT!).

Even though we finished our day both sunburned and sweaty, we knew we had made some absolutely gorgeous images from our experience and we are absolutely delighted to share them with Festival Brides.
The Florals…
Bouquet and Hair Floral Crown were created using dried and preserved floral elements and grasses including Banksia, Lunaria, Ruscus, Strawflower, Palm spears and leaves, Pampas grass, fern leaves and Amaranthus. In natural and bleached tones reflective of the environment of the salty sun scorched marshes at Heybridge Basin. Cotton stems pay homage to the natural cotton fabrics in the collection and finally a touch of luxe with the Palm spears painted gold to compliment the Saint Laurent Mules and gold accessories. This dreamy textured arrangement is not only on trend but a wonderful keepsake to be enjoyed for years after.
The Accessories…
A carefully curated selection of accessories were chosen for the shoot based on luxury investment pieces that can be re worn and restyled time again, in line with my ambitions for the looks in the 29 Atelier collection.
