Oh do we have a bohemian delight of an inspiration wedding shoot to share with you all this afternoon, put together by Bumble Bell Tents and featuring an extensive line up of awesome outdoor wedding suppliers. It comes with a Scandinavian bohemian wedding theme (two styles which work so well together), lots of textured textiles and decor ideas, a neutral earthy colour palette with a hints of black, an intimate wedding ceremony space within a naked tipi, a tantalising grazing table, two beautiful cakes and so much more. There is not one element that we don’t love – it has been beautifully styled and offers such wonderful inspiration and ideas for an intimate wedding.
Like many suppliers who have been faced with a decimated wedding and event season due to Covid-19, Sam at Bumble Bell Tents wanted to keep her creative juices flowing so organised a shoot that focused on providing inspiration for couples who are now planning small intimate weddings. She says…
This particular shoot was inspired during lock down. Having had a full season of weddings, festivals and events ahead of me, all were cancelled in the space of 2 weeks due to new government legislation surrounding COVID-19. The new laws introduced have stopped large gatherings and so I felt that I wanted to inspire brides and show them that there are still very beautiful ways of getting married – albeit it on a smaller and more intimate scale. If smart styling is incorporated into their special day they can create multi-layered beautiful back drops, unique accommodation and novel concepts for smaller groups.

Organic Scandi Boho Styled Wedding Shoot…

I have been in the events industry for 25 years and specialise as an event stylist, wedding and party planner. My passion lays within the outdoor events industry, pop-up hotels and festival styled weddings. Working outdoors means that we are able to incorporate so many magical and organic elements of our natural surroundings.
Our alfresco approach lends itself well to the current wedding climate and we feel that moving forward the new trend will mean that weddings will embrace outdoor, airy green field events above the more traditional indoor venues. We have tried to show the possibilities behind using the same structures in different scenarios throughout your weekend which will appeal to brides watching their budget.
Our naked tipi concept worked perfectly for both a ceremony area and an evening alfresco dining area with a bar and luxury picnic set up. The grazing table is a great way to keep costs down for smaller gatherings and are a very social and relaxed way of dining whilst being visually appealing with wonderful colours and aromas.
The 5m Bell tents worked brilliantly for accommodating ‘bubbles’ of guests. Here is a LUX wedding tent which gives a 5 star feel in a field! The Emperor Tent created an exclusive area for the ‘little party animals’ (the children) styled to compliment the main structure. The Emperor Tent also works well as a lounge area and as a pre-wedding evening event space for the bridal party and as a childrens chill out picnic zone throughout the wedding.
With the floral decor I chose to go down the route of using dried flowers, tropical dried leaves and pampas in addition to using some artificial flowers. The purpose of this is that for a weekend event these should maintain their form and stay looking good in most weather conditions for a few days.
