Ladies and Gents listen up! If you are free on the 5th and the 6th April and would like to attend the UK’s first ever inclusive wedding show dedicated to diversity, then Nu Bride The Wedding Show is for you.
Founded by the incredible Nova Reid, this is a show that promises to bring modern inclusive suppliers to modern diverse couples. It wants to fill the gap that the mainstream wedding shows are ignoring….
I wanted to create an inclusive wedding show after a 2017-2018 Nu Bride survey revealed over 94% felt that mainstream wedding shows did not adequately serve their needs, felt shows were segregated, didn’t represent modern couples and definitely didn’t represent couples in blended relationships or fusing cultures together.
It frustrated me that many of their frustrations were the same I faced as a bride to be in 2011/2012. It was why I started my wedding blog in 2012 and Nu Bride The Wedding Show will be an extension of this. 2019 is most definitely the year of change and diversity matters now more than ever.
Nova Reid, Founder of Nu Bride
With a supplier line up that will leave you excited to talks by industry leaders offering planning advice, beauty and wellbeing tips, vow writing workshops and so much more. This is a show that wants to leave you inspired, excited and ready for what will most definitely be the best day of your live. Oh and did we mention there are goody bags?
It is promising to be an amazing event so get your tickets now!
Nova talks us through the show and what couples can expect…
The Wedding Show…

Nu Bride The Wedding Show is the UK’s first wedding show dedicated to diversity for chic contemporary couples who care deeply about equality and where they spend their money.
Our socio-political climate is changing and consumers care deeply about how, who and where they spend their money. Couples shouldn’t have to ask if “suppliers do weddings for couples like them”. Suppliers range of work should be representative and reflective of society. The show will bring equality-minded wedding professionals all under one roof, it will feature wedding planning inspiration, fashion as well as beauty and wellbeing, budgeting and financial planning, vow writing workshops, workshops on how to blend cultures together, how to plan inclusive and sustainable weddings, and incredible entertainment and delicious nibbles from the previous head chef at Harrods.
The show is also sponsored by chic contemporary venue Camden House and design house and alternative gift list providers Patchwork who care deeply about diversity. Lastly, we are proud to be partnered with Social enterprise Brides do Good who protect women and girls by empowering them through education and using some of the proceeds from their vast selection of designer wedding dresses to help end child marriage.
It’s going to be quite an experience and we can’t wait to connect our equality-minded wedding pros with our stylish couples who also care deeply about social issues and want to use their wedding day to celebrate their union, to be who they are unapologetically, with progressive business owners, in the most inclusive way with the people in their life who matter.
