The Norwich installment of the coolest, independent style-focused wedding show in the UK, Most Curious, is now just days away so we wanted to tell you about some of the exclusive features of this year’s show, and reasons you just got to be there!
Bang For Your Buck…
First up you get a lot of bang for your £3.50 buck at Most Curious! Taking place Sunday 24th March at The Fire Pit in Norfolk’s ancient woodland The Firs – the show brings together over 60 of the coolest East Anglian (and beyond) wedding suppliers in an explosion of creativity. Individually handpicked and curated through a strict application process, to bring you the perfect mix of the most skilled, the most pioneering, the loveliest and the most creative brands, designers, makers and services. Special Show Discounts….
So many brands will be showing fresh, new products and services launching specifically at the show and running show only discounts and offers too! Just to give you a taster of a few:
Magical Tipis…
Magical Tipis will be offering a 5% discount on their equipment to any customers who visit them and register their interest in the tipis at the Most Curious show. They will also have the fire lit inside the tipi with lots of marshmallows for toasting and are showcasing their lovely vintage folding chairs for their first time which they are adding to their list of beautiful extras available to hire.
Sugar Button Creative….
Sugar Button Creative and her cake collection for this year’s show continues to be inspired by architectural surfaces like rough plaster, stonework and granite.
‘I’ve also been experimenting with a few ways of creating one of the latest stone trends; terrazzo into an edible form,’ says baker Imogen who is including these in the VIP goody bags, ‘Colour has been pared back to focus on the texture, structure and forms and I’ve enjoyed playing with light and shadow. Statement dried flowers and foliage provide the odd punch of colour and beautiful delicate shadows.’

She will also be running a show-only offer for personalised edible favours and place names to match your wedding cake. On display and up for grabs will be her Homemade lemon curd jar favours, Lemon meringue cake jar favours with name tags by For Keeps, Passionfruit and White Chocolate jars with place name tags by Polly Pickle (flowers by swaffham florist) as well as Cookies with Personalised Edible Wax Seals.
Imogen is also channeling one of our mega inspirations for this years show who happens to also be one of her favourite artists
Alexander Calder (synchronicity!)
‘His work was a major influence in my previous walks of life,’ describes Imogen, ‘I’m excited to get to work on a cake piece inspired by his work.’

Ciara Bowles….
London’s Craft Central member Ciara Bowles is revealing her brand new ‘Something old, Something new’ range that is made with antique mother of pearl elements as the focus of the collection. Each piece is made from one off carved and engraved pieces so each one is unique. She will also be offering 10% off any wedding band orders placed at the fair, or made shortly following the fair and will be giving out a time limited code that visitors can use exclusively. What an offer!
Romeo and Succulent…
The wonderful Romeo and Succulent florists are offering couples 10% off if they meet her at the show and book before the end of April. Another big saving! And as well as that founder Kim will also be doing a ‘pull your name out of the hat’ competition for brides to win a £100 wedding flowers voucher.
EDEN B…
Fresh from the London show, luxury, handcrafted bridal accessories brand EDEN B will be doing hair trials at Norwich, which were a huge hit at the East London event.
‘It’s a great opportunity for brides to try as many pieces as they like in their hair,’ describes founder Hannah, ‘It’s always nice to try them on and I can offer stylising advice as most of my pieces can be worn in loads of different ways. I can also chat about bespoke designs on the day too.’

The Norfolk Olive Tree Company…
New for this season, the Norfolk Olive Tree Company, are showcasing it’s 12 foot love heart scented Jasmine. They are also running a competition at the moment to celebrate their 4th year of business, giving away an ancient, gnarled Olive Tree from Catalonia, Spain, which is something you can also get details of at the show. NOMADI PIZZA…
NOMADI PIZZA will be showcasing their new wood fired wedding breakfast options under the Nomadi – Wood Fired Kitchen that they have just recently developed to complement Nomadi Pizza. Expect mouth-watering canapes, slow cooked meat with fire roasted veggies and salads plus delicious desserts. All this and out top notch wood fired pizza of course. Yum.
Wild Folk Florists…
Having recently just moved from Hackney to Norwich, Wild Folk florists is new to the Norwich scene and is eco aware and uses her own home-grown/100% Norfolk grown pesticide and chemical free no plastic field-grown fresh and dried flowers to create beautiful and unusal and thoughtful arrangements!
‘Visitors can have a free no comitment chat with me,’ says founder Natalie, ‘ we can talk about environmental floral issues and zero waste wedding plans – not particularly sexy but oh so important – and get the low down on what will be in season and how to plan a palette based on this.’
Natalie will also be wearing her floral accessories made in her little garden workshed.
‘I haven’t shown these at any other market or stall and they get great feedback on insta,’ she describes. ‘I’ll be making some of these live on the day if people want to chat to me about how I don’t use plastic in these and in my arrangements.’
Hello Sunshine…
The super, Cambridge based HELLO SUNSHINE is going to be offering some free (very limited) portraits for guests at the fair. She will offer 6 x 15min slots between 12:30-2pm, which will be enough time for her to paint a happy couple and have a chat about the packages etc whilst she works. These are part of the her live portrait and custom portrait packages that she offers for wedding stationery and an a feature of your actual wedding on the day.
Carla Blain…
The hugely talented and sought after Carla Blain will be showcasing a new journal style album, worth £600, which she has exclusively let us know she will be including one with any couples wanting to secure their date at the show itself!
Buns of Fun…
Firm fave, excuse all the puns, Buns of Fun is trialling a brand new look see for the first time at Most Curious! She will also have gluten free and vegan sampling as well as cute postcards as part of her stand.
Street Food Delights…
Don’t miss the whole extra bonus of the outdoor element of the Norwich show either with street food from The Food Dude pancakes and waffle super stars, Squilla and Squidge. They will be bringing their healthy, wholesome and delicious street food with Caribbean heritage and Middle Eastern and Mediterranean elements. Nomadi Pizza Wood fired will also be there offering fresh pizza. There’s also plenty of ales and fizz to taste from the mobile bars and tasty cocktails from the FP team to buy. All outside is the giant hat tipi from Magical camping, Norfolk Shepherds hut – the ultimate glamping experience, as well as an airstream and cattle trailer bar plus fully styled ceremony and fire pit spaces by the Fire Pit team.

THE ARTSY, THE ARID AND THE ABSTRACT…
Every year the show has a styling theme, absorbing trends seen in fashion, art, design and forward thinking media right now, the shows styling team decide what aesthetic trend they feel is coming for weddings and this year it is THE ARTSY, THE ARID AND THE ABSTRACT. It means we shall be treating you to a venue taken over by a dry, matte terracotta and apricot palette with Mediterranean and Moroccan accents of ochre yellow and cobalt blues, and we’ve focused on Matisse and Miro-esque lines and forms and organic, abstracted shapes. The catwalk and venue will reflect this as styled by The Little Lending Company, Swaffham Florist and Boomting Bunting. Be sure not to miss the two catwalk shows, which take place 12pm and 1.30pm, styled by Lola Elliot (who assisted with the London show catwalk) with bridal wear from White Reflections, Bud and Boe, MiaSylviaa and Lennie Beare.
