Winter wedding inspiration is making its way to your screens today with a modern luxe wedding shoot put together by Louise of May Rose Floral Design and captured by Dearest Love Photography at a brand new wedding venue in Worcestershire called Crumplebury. Focusing on a modern natural aesthetic, with a stripped back colour palette of white, green and black (with hints of terracotta, bronze and dark pink), Louise used the venue’s unique characteristics, quirky personality and attention to detail as her stimulus for this shoot. We really wanted to create a shoot with a Modern Luxe vibe, and when we found the new venue Crumplebury, it fitted perfectly with the shoot. Crumplebury has a real modern natural feel with real attention to detail paid when dressing the venue. We wanted to pick up on this in every aspect from the dress and flowers through to the stationery and cake.
We love the minimalist vibe to the squared reception table setting with it’s pot plants, black and clear plates, paired back table decor and the slick design to those black chairs. Coupled with the green of the florals, this entire setting works brilliantly with the stark white walls of the venue and certainly adds to the modern luxe ambience Louise was looking to create.
As well as the table setting we also ADORE the bouquet in this styled shoot. Perfect for a winter wedding, it is full of beautiful white anemones (one of my personal favourite flowers) and hues of deep pink found in the roses. It compliments the Bride’s sophisticated satin sweetheart gown by Stephanie Kyles Bridal perfectly and, the black pistil centers of those incredible anemones also ties in nicely with the luxe vibes of the Groom’s tuxedo.

A Modern Luxe Vibe…
This wonderful shoot is set at the stunning Crumplebury in Whitbourne, Worcestershire. Every room is decorated with lots of thought and style. High ceilings and vast windows bring the outside in and create amazing light inside and great views of the surrounding countryside.
The Dress…
The dress, hand made by Stephanie Kyles Bridal, was fitted specifically to emphasise our brides shape. A sophisticated satin sweetheart gown with a sequin cape and black belt to emphasise the wait and add drama.
The Shoes…
The fabulous shoes were designed by Di Hassall Shoes. Di incorporated nude toned strappy shoes and added to a touch of black ribboning to tie in perfectly with the dress.
The Hair…
The hair was beautifully curled and tousled by Amy Bemand Hair, with our first look was a stunning updo to show off the beautiful hand crafted hair slides and then a more relaxed tousled curl for the second look.
The Make Up…
As you can see Sam at Indulge Beauty and Make up, worked complete magic on our beautiful bride. Dramatic long lashes and metallic eyeshadow, with a warm rose coloured lipstick tied in perfectly with our theme.
The Flowers…
Louise of May Rose Floral designs used Anemones, tulips, ranunculus, roses, waxflower and various foliages including eucalyptus. The combination of colour and texture was made for a modern but romantic feel.
The Stationery…
Brittany at Pigment and Paper used the monochrome colours for her stationery, incorporating a beautiful handpainted design of the venue, and soft trailing vines.
The Cake…
Vics Vegan Bakes created a stunning design for this shoot combining gorgeous black and white drama and gold leaf detail. Finished with sprays of gorgeous flowers.
The Jewellery…
Elizabeth Terzza supplied her hand crafted stunning jewellery for this shoot. We wanted to use gold tones to compliment. Elizabeth used inspiration from the olive leaves used for the hairpieces, stunning statement necklace, earrings and even wedding rings, tie pin and cufflinks for the groom.
The Groom…
The grooms suit was carefully selected by Carolyn at Bill Child Formal Wear. She chose a classy evening suit including waist coat with black tie, and we had a bow tie too for a second look.
The Tablescape…
Julie at Dress to Impress created the most stunning tablescape. Using the natural handmade wood tables as the back ground to a combination of alternating beaded glass and black chargers. With black and white napkins and a draped cheesecloth runner to add some softness.
The Photography…
All images were beautifully captured by the amazing Jim & Kerri of Dearest Love Photography. They were able to work with the amazing light at the venue, to produce these fabulous pictures.
