Modern, chic and stylish are the three main words we would use to describe today’s inspiration wedding shoot, put together and captured by The Smiths and Co and featuring the prettiest of flower arrangements by Botanics Florist. The colour palette of pastel pink hues, with hints of lilac, used within the flowers is so beautiful and we have completely fallen in love with it! It works perfectly with the modern romantic ambience this shoot creates and the sophisticated fashion led styling of the bride and groom. Olivia of The Smiths and Co explains…
We wanted to create something super modern. The outfits for the shoot was our main source of inspiration and where we started when planning it. We loved the fashion led bridal looks and we wanted to inspire couples that they can go for something different and non traditional when picking their wedding outfits. We went for a beaded wide leg jumpsuit and a white oversized blazer that could be removed for the evening to create a different look.
Featuring a retro inspired ceremony area with layered wooden panels in pastel pink, sleek and modern black ceremony chairs, a stunning table scape of lush floral installations and luxurious crockery, neon signs and a sequinned jumpsuit that has our name on it – this shoot ticks a lot of our wedding boxes and showcases some of our favourite trends of 2020.
Olivia shares with us more details on Modern Industrial Chic and the suppliers who helped make it happen.
Enjoy lovely people.

Modern, Chic & Stylish…
Modern, chic and stylish wedding inspiration at Industrial city venue Shack
Revolution.
The colour scheme was different tones of pinks and creams with lilac and a hint of black that we brought through with some of the styling to tie in with the black beam’s in the venue and the black industrial style chairs.

Shack Revolution is the perfect city industrial venue for cool couples. It’s a
blank canvas so you can style it however you want. Using wooden boards
painted in pastel pink colours and then florals to dress the boards this made
the dreamiest backdrop for a ceremony and a focal point.
We dressed the tables with beautiful glass wear, black and pink plates and gold cutlery, and some soft blush linen against the wooden tables. We used tall tapered pastel colour candles and the most gorgeous floral table installations that almost spilled out onto the table and plates. On the plates was menu’s and hand painted perspex for name places. The neon sign above the table was the perfect backdrop for a top table that would also make a great backdrop for photos.
