Ooooo do we have a treat for your eyes today lovely people!

Where do we even start with today’s incredible styled inspirational shoot which we just love love LOVE so much. From the bright tropical flowers and colour scheme to the gorgeous Periesa and Willis Oromé, the real couple featured. Their smiles, energy and clear love and admiration for each other alone is enough to fall in love with, but this shoot doesn’t stop there. Oh no! It is full to the brim of amazing wedding ideas and inspiration for couples who are looking to do things a bit differently – to make a statement and to explore contrasting ideas and themes. From the ceremony alter, with its abundance of colour, to the incredible ’tiled’ wedding cake and beautifully designed stationery – it is a shoot that keeps on giving on every level.

Captured perfectly by Jodie DC Mitchell, the shoot was put together as part of a photography workshop by Rebecca Carpenter Photography and Photography Farm and explores modern luxe bridal and groom styling with a tropical decor and folk art theme. The styling was done by Pink Palm Events with flowers by My Lady Garden Flowers and we ADORE what they have created. Their table setting is a delight of perfectly balanced brightly coloured flowers with rich jewel toned decor and we also love the ceremony backdrop with it’s fresh carnation flowers and palm leaves painted in pinks and oranges.

Jodie shares with us more details on this wonderful shoot. Look out for the gorgeous bespoke pink gown by Emma Beaumont Atelier modeled beautifully by Abigail Johnson who looks like an absolute goddess in this shoot. The way the light reflects and the material falls on her dress is devine. We love it.

Enjoy lovely people – this shoot is a keeper and the perfect way to bring in the weekend.

Luxurious and Lavish…

As soon as I saw the moodboard for this shoot, I knew that I needed to be a part of it. Inspired by Folk Art, the styling juxtaposed bountiful and natural flowers along with the eccentric architecture of Chiddingstone Castle.

The bright colours paired with jewel tones made up the styling from Pink Palms Events and the floral installations from My Lady Garden, to create the perfect modern tropical theme, which screamed summer, despite being set in the Kent countryside.

Really turning up the heat were our gorgeous models Abigail and Peresia, in vivid bright dresses from Emma Beaumont, perfect as an outfit change for the reception, or a bold choice for the whole day.

This theme is perfect for couples that want to steer away from a traditional wedding but still keep that luxurious and lavish theme, bringing a taste of the Mediterranean sun to the less-than-sunny UK.
