Tell Us A Little Bit About Yourselves?

We’re One Curious Dream – an award-winning wedding planning and design agency who work with UK couples to create stunningly authentic, rulebook-free, kick-ass weddings! Our small team of wedding planners work their magic on a wide range of weddings but love nothing more than producing super-fun, beautifully relaxed festival-style weddings for couples who want to enjoy every moment and show their guests a great time.

We adore planning weddings in dry-hire (aka DIY) venues, so, whether you’re getting married in a tipi, marquee, yurt, barn, private estate or the family home, we’re the wedding planners who will take your ideas and turn them into a bloody-amazing reality!

Tell us about your weddings?

We’re so lucky that we get to work on a wide range of weddings! Every one of our couples is unique and brings fresh ideas to the table, so no two weddings that we plan are ever the same – hooray, because we don’t do cookie-cutter weddings at One Curious Dream!

The common thread that ties the weddings we plan together is that our couples all want to create an authentic, unique, highly personalised celebration where they can choose every element, from the food that is served and the music that is played through to the tiny touches that make the wedding so perfectly unique. We’re not into one-size-fits-all packages, instead, we’ll work with you to create a wedding that perfectly embraces your tastes, aspirations and love for one another. Our couples believe in shedding traditions that don’t feel relevant to them and instead focus on making their own memories in their own way.

Generally, our wedding planners create celebrations which take place across a weekend, usually consisting of a super-relaxed rehearsal gathering, the main wedding day followed by a post-wedding event (aka, the recovery session – think big brunches with Bloody Mary’s and many hairs of the dogs all round!)

Planning an extended wedding celebration means our couples get to maximise the time with their loved ones and allows us to create different moods, aesthetics and feelings across the weekend.

Planning a wedding with One Curious Dream also gives you access to our award-winning wedding designers who love nothing more than creating beautifully boho, wonderfully rustic or fabulously vintage weddings. No matter what vibe you’re aiming for, we’ll create a look that ‘wows’ and ensure the guest experience is out of this world!

Our team all originally come from corporate backgrounds, so it means we have good old-fashioned values when it comes to providing a great service! We appreciate that most of our clients are either busy professionals, at home raising a family or are even based overseas so because of that, we tailor our services to fit your lifestyle. We’ll chat when you have availability (evenings and weekends are fine), we’ll communicate in the most effective way for you and we’ll do everything we can to lighten the load and make the planning process stress-free. Whilst we’re a creative bunch, we always keep the practical elements at the front of our mind which means you can be sure that not only will your wedding look great, it will also run smoothly.

We’re all very down to earth, have a wicked sense of humour and are ultimately very human! We understand the challenges, the politics and the worries you face when planning your wedding so we’re here to be a trusted confidante, guiding you through the process.
