Fiesta Tipi Festival Boho Wedding Inspiration

Colourful fiesta wedding vibes are gracing our festival wedding pages on this beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Put together and styled by the lovely Casey of Fauxtanical, and captured to perfection by Leesha Williams Photography, Fiesta Boho takes us on a wedding inspiration journey of colour, tipis, pom poms, smoke bombs, Alpacas, fun-filled bohemian style and tons of Confetti.

With a bright and bohemian festival wedding theme, Casey, along with an awesome line up of talented outdoor wedding suppliers, wanted to break the mold of a traditional festival wedding style and create a big, colourful fiesta of neon’s, Macramé and bright blooms, with an eclectic twist of vintage crockery, bohemian dresses and Mexican prints and embroidery. It is the exact colour injection we have needed to brighten up our weekend and bring the party vibes to our festival pages. Casey explains…

The concept for the shoot came from a discussion between myself and Leesha Williams Photography. We wanted to create bright, fun and alternative inspiration for couples, who want a festival wedding, but want to break the mold of traditional bunting and wellies. Bright, fun-filled and Boho – the brief was simple, and the outcome was epic, with Alpacas, smoke bombs and tons of Confetti, glitter, pom-poms and amazing suppliers, made this festival themed wedding one to remember.

This shoot is right up our street! We love everything about it from the Mexican inspired prints and textiles to the pom pom tassles and wonderful colour palette of orange, blue and pink hues. It is the sort of shoot that brings you joy from the moment you look at it which is why we couldn’t think of better inspiration to share with you as we end our second week of Lockdown Part 2.

The Vibe…

Styling and Florals…

The concept for the shoot came from a discussion between myself and Leesha Williams Photography. We wanted to create bright, fun and alternative inspiration for couples, who want a festival wedding, but want to break the mould of traditional bunting and wellies. This is how we ended up with a big, colourful combo of neon’s, Macramé and bright blooms, teamed with an eclectic mix of crockery and decor, bohemian dresses and colourful patterns and embroidery.

Photography…

Having worked with Leesha from Leesha Williams Photography before, I know and love her style and knew her edgy, alternative photography would suit the overall look I was going for, it also helps she’s an avid fan of smoke bombs and an epic confetti Capturer!

Venue…

In keeping with the festival theme, it was a given that the venue HAD to be a Tipi. Wonderland Wedding Venues had a number of Tipi locations for us to choose from, meaning we were spoilt for choice! We opted for the stunning Inkersall Grange Farm, next to Sherwood Pines, it was the perfect location for a Festival wedding.

The Look…

We teamed up with Bexbrides for the Bridal gown, I told her the brief and she ran with the idea and delivered, not one, but three different dresses! With 3 different styles to choose from, it was only right we had a selection of amazing headpieces, including a bright floral crown from Fauxtanical, a pom-pom headband from The Pompomporium, colourful ombre veils also made by Bexbrides and a Diamanté encrusted BRIDE hat made by Lolli & Pops Events; which we teamed with a lace, tassle jacket, made bespoke by Bexbrides and a sexy, satin slip dress with grunge boots.

Suppliers…

All the suppliers involved absolutely nailed the vibe of the shoot.

For the Stationery, we had Bluebell Press on board – “I loved the colourful, celebration style of this wedding set up, so I created this new range to compliment the mood. Romany inspired flowers and patterns mixed with modern typography really sets this design off, complimenting the free, fun styling of the shoot. I really wanted the bold colours to stand out so used a vellum wallet to encase the invitations”.

We also, had Sarah from Photo Press, her Newspapers are amazing & as soon as I seen them, I just knew we had to get her on board. They’re perfect for a festival wedding, especially if you’re having live music and a line-up!!

We had an array of fun, quirky suppliers, including a VW Photobooth and Glitter Bar from Oh Snap UK, macrame badminton and a selection of beautiful, handmade garden games from Emma Lane Designs. Pom-pom cladded Alpaca’s and the most crazy, colourful Celebrant – Hazel from Sunkissed Ceremonies. She’s fun, rainbow coloured and abit barmy! Everything I wanted for the shoot and if you’re wanting someone to marry you that will inject personality, humour and a strong northern accent into your vows… She’s definitely your woman!
