Afternoon gorgeous peeps and welcome to the week. I hope you have all had a lovely weekend and enjoyed the sunshine.
We have such a beautiful and unique wedding inspiration shoot to share with you all. From the pretty pink stationery to the stunning dried flowers, we love everything about it.
Inspired by the art and mantra of Acroyoga, a physical practice which combines yoga and acrobatics, wedding planner and stylist Keenda Sisouphanh of Events By Keenda, wanted to create beautiful earthy intimate wedding inspiration for the bohemian chic couple with a huge focus on sustainability – something that we massively commend her for. Pretty much all of the suppliers featured in this shoot, and the products that are used, have an eco-friendly focus. The furniture you see is upcycled, the cake is vegan, the flowers are all dried and reusable and both the bride and groom have been dressed in outfits that are made from bamboo silk.
Whilst Keenda’s aim was to create a shoot that was 100% eco-friendly, this wasn’t possible proving that there is still work to be done to grow this market and to create more awareness around sustainability within the wedding industry…
The majority of the suppliers are eco-friendly but, the fact that I couldn’t get a 100% team of eco-friendly vendors just goes to show that their is still room in the wedding industry for the market to grow. I would like to share the amazing suppliers I did find and highlight how niche eco-friendly weddings can work and how we can all play our part with the choices we make.

We couldn’t agree more.
Keenda tells us more about the shoot, the brilliant suppliers involved and the art and practice of Acroyoga.
Big shout out to Alexandria Hall Photography, the fabulous photographer behind these images, whose birthday it is today! Happy Birthday Alex!
The Film…
A World of Your Own…
Words by Keenda Sisouphanh
A boho chic romantic eco-friendly intimate wedding set in the beautiful outdoors of The Quaives in Canterbury, Kent. It’s a love story told through the art of Acroyoga, showing the bond and trust of marriage and expression of intimacy through movement.
The venue is a gorgeous quintessentially British countryside space with chic cottages and space to host a yoga retreat before the wedding. We have everything from upcycled furniture to a vegan cake and the couple’s outfits being made from bamboo silk. The ceremony was set under a giant weeping willow tree for that extra intimate secluded feel of being with only your closest friends and family; LITERALLY A WORLD OF YOUR OWN! This is further enhanced by the gorgeous pond feature and the sounds of nature.
An intimate informal dining space was created on a low table with cushions and Moroccan pouffes, complete with hand made paper roses on the dinner plate to add an elegant finish. The table is adorned with glass bottles and beautiful dried flowers which can double up as keepsakes for guests too.
The shoot screams bohemian wedding inspiration with warm earthy tones and textures from the pampas grass and dried flowers, not to mention a stunning floral crown!
The bride showcases two beautiful dresses and the whole vibe is about the couple’s individuality and love of Acroyoga and the fun it brings. The couple are also caught having a moment on the swings on the giant tree in the open fields.
The majority of the suppliers are eco-friendly and the fact that I couldn’t get a 100% full team eco-friendly vendors just goes to show that their is still room in the wedding industry for the market to grow. I would like to share the amazing suppliers I did find and highlight how niche eco-friendly weddings are and how we can play our part with the choices we make.
