If you are a bride whose dream hen do would be to camp under the stars with your best friends then you are going to love today’s styled shoot. Put together by Gilly Page Jewellery and The Barn At Lees Farm, to promote their new hen do package Bespoke For Brides, Hens and Good Friends, the shoot features two boho babes adorned in flower crowns and glitter and relaxing in the gorgeous setting of their private glamping site in Shropshire. They look chilled and happy and why wouldn’t they – they’re on a hen do!

Bespoke For Brides, Hens and Good Friends is a brilliantly thought out hen package that offers brides and their girlfriends the chance to escape to a gorgeous corner of the world, make pretty flower crowns (and they are very very pretty) sip on tea and champagne and talk the night away either in the wood fired hot tub or around the camp fire. I personally couldn’t think of anything more perfect right now than escaping to a place like this with my best friends. Laughter with your mates can be the best kind of tonic and this shoot captures that perfectly.

Gilly Page shares with us her ideas for the shoot and more detail on Bespoke For Brides, Hens and Good Friends.

Henfest  2018….

Words by Gilly Page

The idea for the shoot was born from an idea that Emma and I had to offer Brides and their ‘I Do’ crew the opportunity to escape from the world and have their own little celebration at the little piece of heaven that is The Barn At Lees Farm. Bespoke For Brides, Hens and Good Friends was born and the shoot was put together to showcase what a fun getaway it can be!

Nestled in the woods in the depths of Ironbridge in Shropshire, Emma took the ruins of a barn and lovingly restored it along with The Annex and The Yurt and has become an AirB&B Superhost with glowing reviews. She lives in the The Barn with her two lovely daughters, dogs and Guinea Pig and rents out The Annex and The Yurt to guests to share a little piece of off grid idyllic living.

Brides, Hens or Just Good Friends….

Brides, Hens or just good friends are able to enjoy an overnight stay in The Annex and The Yurt with wood fired hot tubs, a fire pit to sit under the stars and fairy lights. They can wrap themselves in blankets, toast marshmallows and enjoy High Tea which is homemade by Emma. She also supplies homemade Elderflower cordial made from Elderflowers collected from the woods around the The Barn and fizz of course!

Bespoke Flower Crowns….

The Bride and her crew as part of the bespoke hen do package have 2 hours with me creating their own bespoke keepsake flower crown, hair accessories or floral hoops with flowers of their choice which can be personalised with keepsake silver charms. These charms can also be worn later as a bracelet or necklace or added to an existing piece of jewellery.

Realistic Representation…..

It is really important for me as a designer to be able to showcase my work in the very best way possible to give Brides an idea of how my crowns actually look when worn. Mine and Emma’s venture together was the perfect opportunity for my imagination to run wild and create an inspiration shoot that really showcased my work as well as her beautiful setting. All of the styling, props and accessories used were lovingly sourced and styled by myself and Emma and therefore gives the Bride and her Hens a realistic and honest representation of what to expect during their stay. This was really important to us.
