Beautiful wedding inspiration is making its way to you this afternoon in the form of this chic bohemian wedding shoot, inspired by the colours of Autumn and a theme that celebrates romance, botanical style florals and real love.

Put together by Louise of May Rose Floral Design, it comes with such gorgeous flower ideas for your wedding. From the pretty wild flower bouquet with hints of pink, to the gorgeous design of the outdoor ceremony alter that exudes wild Autumnal romance, the flowers really are the stars of the show and ties each element, and area, together beautifully.

When asked what was her inspiration, Louise says…

Autumn being my favourite season, I wanted to use the seasons colours and Brinsop’s (the venue for Autumnal dreams) versatility and character to showcase everyone’s talents to create a wedding vibe that is beautiful, unique and utterly romantic. The theme was a natural, botanical, and bohemian style. Our colour palette was Pinks, peaches, touches of orange and some deeper burgundy tones.

Captured perfectly by Dearest Love Photography and featuring a line up of talented wedding suppliers, Autumnal Dreams in the epitome of pretty. Whether that be within the styling, the smiles of the real couple Amy and Tom, or found within the grounds of the venue – there is so much wedding pretty in this shoot. It is gorgeous in every possible way.

Louise shares with us more details on Autumnal Dreams, her choice of flowers, the venue and all of the suppliers involved.

Enjoy.

Autumnal Dreams…

Words by May Rose Floral Design

The Brinsop & The Knot was chosen as the venue, rustic and natural in style.  Nestled in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, it was the perfect setting for our photo shoot. Brinsop Court itself is so beautiful and has so much character that we were spoilt for choice for photo opportunities. On top of that The Knot is such a wonderful new building, stylishly designed for weddings and events. There are so many wedding options at this venue, that you truly can make your wedding your own.

Our dresses were by Stephanie Kyles Bridal. Stephanie designed two dresses for this shoot. The first was a very elegant two piece, with a cuffed chiffon blouse top and beautiful fitted lace skirt with front buttoning. The second was a whimsical nude two piece, with a laced halter neck design and billowing skirt and, in addition to this, the top shoulders had fabric draped like wings from the back which made for such a romantic style.

Our bride’s beautifully styled hair was by Amy Bemand Hair. The first style was a delicately pinned bun with romantic curls, which suited the first style of dress. The second style was loose natural waves which framed the brides face, and looked awesome with the floral headband.

The brief for the make-up was natural and subtle, and Sam from Indulge Beauty and Make up totally nailed it, using nude shades that complimented the bride’s complexion beautifully. A second look was created for some of the shots with a slightly more dramatic look of longer lashes and a deeper shade of lipstick. An ideal touch up for the evening party!

The groom’s attire was provided By Bill Child Formal Wear. Our groom looked awesome in this fabulous suit of grey wool tweed with a delicate floral patterned tie. The colours tied in wonderfully with the colour palette and complimented both styles of dress too.

The stationery was by Pigment + Paper. Absolutely wonderful designs from Brittany. The floral artwork and colours on the invitations, menus, name tags and table plan were perfect.

Our cake was by Vics Vegan Bakes. A real beauty, it had 3 tiers with peach buttercream and delicately placed flowers to decorate. The flowers on the cake tied everything together perfectly

For the flowers I wanted to make this shoot super flowery and used lots of local flowers where possible to achieve a romantic look. Dahlias, blousy roses, cosmos, Astrantia, achillea, ammi majus, various grasses, and lots of seasonal foliages. The colours were pinks and peaches, with some pops of deeper colour in there to add to the look. I wanted to use lots of different varieties of flowers for romance and texture.

The Tablescape was designed and styled by Dress to Impress by Julie. Julie created a beautiful table scape using dusky pink knotted napkins and chair covers. The place settings were wicker chargers with taupe stoneware plates and finished off with decorative figs. The additional tables complimented the theme and had beautiful blossom trees to add a statement look. Julie also placed gorgeous tall blossom trees at the entrance to the knot and light up ‘Love’ letters at the dance floor too.

The shoes were by Di Hassall. Nude strappy bespoke peep-toes adorned with nude and white pompoms at the toe. These shoes were truly unique and utterly gorgeous.

As always Jim and Kerri of Dearest Love Photography came along and worked their total magic with the images. With great attention to detail, their stunning images capture the style and beauty of the styled shoot and surroundings effortlessly.

The shoot’s film was by Mitchell Clulow. Mitch videoed the shoot and totally nailed it. The video he put together of the shoot encapsulated the love between our real couple models. The shots he took paid great attention to those special moments of a real wedding – the getting ready, the first kiss as man and wife, those knowing looks, all put together as a lasting memory of the day.
