Vibrant Earthy Wedding Ideas with Dried Florals

We have a bright, colourful, uplifting and beautiful inspiration shoot to share with your eyes today. Put together and captured by Florence Berry Photography at Oak Tree Barn Weddings. It comes with dyed pampas grass floral installations in rainbow colours, a stunning real couple (look out for their tattoos), beautiful bohemian inspired table deocr in earthy colours and a ceremony built around an aged wooden door. It is full to the brim of steal worthy ideas for every aspect of your wedding with an added focus on the little details, such as the personlised biscuit favours, sustainable petal confetti and the amazing dessert table that comes with so many sweet treats that our mouths are watering.

When asked about the concept behind the shoot Florence said…

I pulled together some of my all time favourite people in the industry, knowing how passionate these people are at their jobs I knew we would pull off something unique and beautiful. We are big lovers of doing weddings in your own way, to not follow traditional traditions, rather to make up your own, new traditions. Everybody gave their all and we created this dark, colourful and wonderful vision. We chose models who are dark haired and heavily tattooed to continue the striking and edgy look we liked. With a very simple mood board and some small ‘must have’s’ everybody put in their own efforts and what was created came together wonderfully. My biggest ask was the floating clouds of dried florals, the splashes of pink and softness of the creations filled the air exactly how I hoped, if not more!

Autumn In Colour…

When I saw this glorious new and exciting wedding venue pop up, mere minutes from my house I just had to go visit. As soon as I stepped foot on the land, even with the Barn half built, I knew I had to shoot there asap. The whole place oozed free spirit and exciting opportunity for couples needing to have a modern canvas for their wedding plans. The owners have ongoing plans with never ending ideas which I love, a real passion flowing through the place.

The Dessert table created by my wonderful friend and cake maker, Lou, exceeded expectations. I knew she would pull together something incredible and I was right! The models just had to sink their teeth in. Home Gurrown brought some tasty, unique canapés which filled a huge area, decorated beautifully by their team, who I know, are passionate about food and presentation. The clouds of florals, by Bizzy Lizzy, hung nicely above the sit down setup including the rustic trestle from Locate to Create, with Harriets table supplying beautiful glass and table wear, and featuring homemade biscuits from Bake to the Future, doubling as name places and favours. Gable and Grain supplied invitations, menus and extras, which we placed on the table but also in some beautiful flat lays, which we photographed together with the Rings, Confetti cones and some extras like florals, biscuits and ribbons. The ribbons were also used as part of the ceremony, by True Blue Ceremonies, another set up together with florals, props and more confetti, we made sure the whole shoot continued with the same pops of colour and familiarity.

As if we didn’t have enough we also had Temptation Towers on board, who supplied this retro vintage selfie mirror, a popular choice by many couples as part of their wedding day. We put together a scene with even MORE florals, confetti, props and an area of the venue surrounded by hops. We followed the venue’s hot spots for our favourite places, there is no shortage of stylish pieces, windows, walls and unique opportunities for photographs, it really made for a spectacular day. All in all, I’m so SO pleased with the outcome, the vibe on the day was exciting and it really was a moment we all needed, with the current climate and the scary prospect of when we can actually officially get back to what we love, this was a real touch of passion.
