Happy Hump Day Lovers! We are feeling uplifted by the gorgeous sunshine today and to match those happy vibes we have a super chic and stylish wedding inspiration shoot to share with you all which is bursting at the seams with so many wedding ideas to help you plan your day. I am in love with it! I love the stripped back elegant boho theme, the gorgeous photography, the extensive line up of talented wedding suppliers (my goodness are they all so good), the modern luxe bridal and groom outfits and the decor inspiration it provides through out.

Put together by Sammy Taylor Photography as part of her Amore Photography Workshops, this shoot is an exploration of texture with simple yet beautiful ideas of using layers of draped fabric and dried flowers within your decor to add a more textured setting with depth and height. It also comes with an organic natural essence to it due to the stripped back neutral colour palette, wicker baskets, rattan cushions and the slightly aged interior of the venue with it’s exposed brick walls, weathered window frames and wooden flooring. The untouched personality of the venue coupled with the bohemian elegance to the styling of the decor and models, works so beautifully together. Sammy says…

This particular workshop was an absolute dream to bring to reality. I wanted to blend together soft and romantic tones, with a slight fashion editorial twist. After curating the mood board, and choosing to book the beautiful Sunsets Studio for our location it was a journey of MANY messages back and forth with my AMAZING team of suppliers.

Look out for the INCERDIBLE flowers, which are so beautiful and exude modern elegance, as well as the candles found on the table scape, the modern style of the stationery, the perspex chairs and displays and the STUNNING wedding cake.

Sammy shares with us more details on her gorgeous shoot and the suppliers who brought it all together in perfect harmony.

Amore Elegance…

I launched Amore Workshops last year with the idea of offering my fellow wedding photographers the chance to capture beautiful wedding content and help their business grow in the direction they want. Whether they were just starting off in the industry and wanting to learn without the pressure of a real wedding OR experienced wedding photographers just desiring some fresh and on-trend content it has been a great focus for me to launch this new business during this pandemic.

Even with constant lockdowns causing lots of postponements and difficulties, the workshops have been a fab success and I have been SO lucky to meet a ton of wedding creatives. It seems that we all massively needed a creative outlet, so the workshops have been a great opportunity for us to keep our talents flowing whilst weddings have been so restricted. In addition, the support I felt in the groups has been incredible. It’s been a dire year for our industry, and it has been comforting sharing our ups and downs along the way.

This particular workshop was an absolute dream to bring to reality. I want to blend together soft and romantic tones, with a slight fashion editorial twist. After curating the mood board, and choosing to book the beautiful Sunsets Studio in Peckham for our location it was a journey of MANY messages back and forth with my AMAZING team of suppliers.

Hayley at Cacti and Wildflower brought together all my floral dreams. From that EPIC ‘floating’ cloud over the styled dining table, to a lush bridal bouquet, moss meadows and candles and flowing amaranths on the plinths – she absolutely nailed it! Everyone kept complimenting the florals; they truly elevated the shoot and brought all the romantic vibes to the day.

Hair and Makeup Artist Keri of Off Duty Weddings always out does herself. She is the hair and make up Queen and I simply show her the tones and ideas for the day and I leave her to do her magic!! I especially loved her eyeliner and faux freckles – aren’t they just so pretty! I wish she could do my make up every day!!

Pippa from The W Collection has the most exquisite furniture and props and her eye for styling and detail is next level. She also launched Fikalife Style homeware recently and I am so happy she brought some of her own designs as they were truly just perfect amongst the styling. Adding the gorgeous stationery designs from Chloe Ainsley Creative, the wedding table was divine!

Blackburn Bridal supplied the most stunning gowns for our models. A mixture of Russell Blackburn Fashion & Anna Kara Official worked perfectly. Combined with beautiful Saint Beth Official earrings & Rebecca Anne Designs gorgeous veil ‘wings’ everything came together so well.

Chelsea Buns Cakery added her stunning tiered design that was just so yummy! I am not sure if anyone can look at her cakes and not want to eat them! She is so talented at what she does and her attention to detail is incredible.

Thank you to all the additional suppliers. It was harmonious and I can’t stop looking at the results from the day. It was a long time ago I started planning this particular workshop and I am over the moon how it turned out. All my attendees really enjoyed it.

My workshops are always slightly different in theme, allowing a variety of photographers to gain what they want from them. I am so excited to continue on this journey and am truly grateful to be able to keep inspiring creatives in their businesses and couples for their big day!
