American Dream has made me want to get married again. I just adore the colours, especially within the decor and those fabulous flowers by Wild Rubus which are perfectly matched to the Southwestern theme. The fashion forward styling of the bride is also bang on point for us with her sequinned skirt coupled with that gorgeous backless lace top with cowboy tasseled sleeves.

The basic idea with this shoot was to capture something very different when styling a traditional pole and canvas tent.

We wanted to bring a Californian edginess, Romantic Western, Joshua Tree feel, with warm terracotta, mustard, muted pinks, and South West golden light to a tent in a field in East Sussex! (Big ask, right?)

Tent Hill’s new sailcloth tent, a traditional canvas and wooden pole structure, created a fabulous “canvas” with which to work. Our intention was to show that you can make it super cool and bang on trend! Push boundaries and not play safe with lanterns and white linen, lovely as they are!
