Just something in our bones is telling us that this is going to be a game changer year when it comes to this pandemic – a year that is full of hope, courage, possibilities and moving forward. It is also the year that Most Curious London, the wedding show for the style-savvy couple is back, after having an enforced break in 2021, and that is most certainly something to celebrate!

Most Curious London is one of our favourite wedding fairs in the UK. An event that should definitely be on your wedding planning radar. It is FULL to the brim of trend setting suppliers, inspiration installations guaranteed to give you ideas for your wedding, live entertainment and quirky food and drink stalls. It is a fabulous day out for all wedding planning couples and we are so excited to see what this years show is going to bring.

Now just 8 weeks away, we have the pleasure of sharing with you today 10 reasons why you’ve got to be at the biggest and coolest independent wedding show in the UK. Founder and creative director Becky Hoh-Hale gives us the low down on why the show is unmissable for the style-savvy couple planning their creative nuptials. We will also hear testimonials from pervious visitors, taken in post show online surveys, so you can read first hand why it is a show not to be missed.

So without further ado, here are the 10 reasons why you should visit Most Curious on the 4th-6th March 2022…

1) Over 100 Design and Fashion Led Hand Picked Exhibitors

Most Curious really is the biggest bang for your buck. The venue is the prestigious Truman Brewery, on Brick Lane known for its fashion and edgey arty events, and Most Curious really is the wedding answer to this brief! The industrial space is filled with the most exciting wedding vendors and designers the UK (and beyond!) has to offer. Not not a small show, this is a place where you can find every person you need for your wedding day, but with the feel of boutique event as each exhibitor is so individual and curated with care.

2) Fashion Shows!

Most Curious is known for it’s runway shows that push the boundaries of bridal, something not always seen at more independent events. But this is the place to see trends unfold, with two shows per day, with concepts months in the making. Head creative Director Luke Reene gives his editorial eye and vision, this year with fantastic London Fashion Week session hair and make up artist Melinda Grant and her special team she has assembled for the event. We also have our Coalition team ensuring authentic input and guidance to make sure representation and inclusion is as informed and truly celebratory as possible.

“The best wedding fair I’ve been to, without a doubt. The exhibitors really bring something unique and different to the table, and the presentation of each and every stand was very inspiring.”

3) Shop The Show!

Don’t forget there is plenty of retail joy to be had at the show, not only from the larger sales and bookings we encourage and welcome at the show but there’s a more low key shopping element of the weekend. So there’s plenty of smaller items and purchases people can pick up while they are looking for more major things. Perfect for your accompanying visitors too, who have just come along for the ride!

Just fun, lovely things, such as plants, mini homewares ,bouquets, jewellery, accessories, cosmetics, sweet treats, stationery, prints, tees or smaller Wedding orientated items, from £3.50 to £100.

For example Jens Plants and Florists will be selling houseplants from £15 and Notes stationers will be offering their Wedding Party proposal cards for just £3.50 – to ‘propose’ to your besties to have their official roles on the day. And jewellery companies such as Wolf and Moon will have gorgeous smaller items, such as earrings or lifestyle pieces for sale from £20-£60 and Callie Pettigrew will have homeware loveliness, such as these marbled candles sets, alongside her imminent giant rebrand!

4) Discounts/Show Offers

Almost all the brands at the show will craft bespoke offerings for Most Curious visitors. So this is a reason to definitely be there in person! We’ve heard some excellent sneaks already.

Last but by no means least wedding wear sponsor Jan Si Studios will offer a big ol’ 20% discount on all new collection pieces placed within 2 weeks of the show!

“So unique, trendy and cool. Love that it shines a light on talented small businesses and designers that you would otherwise never hear about.”

5) Inspirational Installations and Amazing Stands

One of the coolest part of the show is the dedication Most Curious puts into the the styling of the event and the collaboration with cool brands to create installation spaces. The main spaces are the entrance space and the catwalk, which are hoping to feature amazing dramatic draping from Boomting Bunting and a very special floral installation. We will be revealing more specifics about the Most Curious installations over the coming weeks. Exhibitors can also select to have an installation stand, which means it’s a much less traditional ‘supplier’ space and feels more immersive, creative and inspirational, a way to step into the physical world of the brand as well as providing ideas for how you might style certain areas for your wedding. We’ve had a few mood boards back from some exhibitors- so feast your eyes on these exclusive looks! Whole Lotta Love Planners are even custom making their own retro cocktail bar for the couples to come and enjoy some champers while they chat ideas! We also work with our recommended set designer/builder Stuart Plant from Netflix show Interior Design Masters to build for us and exhibitors so visual feast of the show is a real big deal for us and want it to be for you!

6) Make a Day of it with Food and Bar Delights

You can really make a day of it at the show with FEAST food stands and bar, to grab some brunch, lunch, or even tea, depending on when you arrive. We have Feast exhibitors which provide every thing from Street Food to ice cream and we have the brilliant Twenty Six as our mobile bar again this year who really know how to put on a stylish, delicious drink experience for the visitors!

Many of the stand also have lovely treats as gifts and samples, such as Our Owambe who will be serving mocktails and Afro-Carribean sample canapés and plenty of gorgeous cake brands with edible giveaways at their stand!

“It was the most inspiring show. I met the most incredible suppliers there and booked so many of them to be a big part of our day. Meeting face to face was a great start and I found the following communication was so strong because of it. We couldn’t have planned our day without it, it was a true inspiration to the wedding we wanted.”

7) Live Music, DJs and Entertainment

We are super excited to team up with the mighty Moonlight Experiences this year on the entertainment side of the show. Moonlight Experiences are a company dedicated to the celebration of queer culture through tourism & nightlife and offer super cool vibes for Hen/Stag/Sten and Hag dos and everything in between as well as wedding entertainment itself! We can’t wait to bring some of that magic to the show. We will also be featuring the incredible interludes from Songbird Sessions powerhouse female vocalists as well as tunes on the Decks through out from our uber hip sponsors the Wedding Smashers.

8) See The Trends Unfold with New Launches and Brands

Most Curious has become a real destination and date in the calendar for brands launching new collections, ranges, services, products or indeed entirely new companies!

Because of this it has established itself as the place to be to see the new, the fresh, the never been seen before and the most directional elements of the wedding industry. Brands will also work on their most fashion and design led new ideas for their Most Curious offering so if you’re a cool cat who is drawn to the idea of being a wedding pioneer and a trend-setter then Most Curious is your friend. We will do the leg work for you!

We can also already confirm some new vibes will come from Events With Akilah who is launching a new virtual planning service at the show, and Rewritten are previewing their new 2022 colour ways at the show including a dreamy sage, blue and pink satin. Wolf and Moon have a new dedicated bridal collection being launched via the show. Absolute modernist trendsetters Jan Si Studios will be using the show as platform to showcase their new collection as well as introducing the See-now-Buy-now business model, which means people will be able to buy new collection’s garments (samples) straight off the rack (so perfect for a last minute buyers!)

Bridal pioneer Velvet Johnstone will also preview brand new never seen before pieces at the show, a capsule collection, entitled “in my bones… pieces of you”  – inspired by love & life. And featuring the next instalment of her collaborations with Atelier of Knit as seen in our last two campaign shoots. She will also offer a most curious discount at the show and during the month of March off the back of the event.

“I really enjoyed how it kept away from the ‘generic’ and ‘traditional’ not every bride wants white chair covers and pink satin ribbons. It was refreshing and inspiring to have people with new and different ideas encouraged to create and not pressured to conform to the mainstream ideas of what a wedding should be. I loved it!”

9) Competitions and Giveaways

There is so much love going on at the show, an abundance of giveaways and exciting comps accompany many of the stands.
