My my my does today’s beautiful styled wedding shoot have a supplier line up that you are most definitely going to want to write down! In fact, we are very proud to say that many of them are members of our festival wedding directory proving once again why we have one of the best wedding directories out there (even if we do say so ourselves!)

Today’s pretty slice of wedding inspiration, that couldn’t be more perfectly suited too today’s gorgeous sunshine, is brought to you by the lovely Jenna of Wonderland Invites who wanted to show the softer, more feminine side to Boho as she explains below….

I love the bohemian trend; my brand is built on it. But something I had always noticed was missing was the softer, more elegant side of boho. Typically, boho weddings are synonymous with either darker shades or really vibrant, festival colours. I wanted to explore a thoroughly dreamy version of boho, utilising lots of pink, white, silver and nude tones.

With a cute kids play area complete with a tipi and animal masks; a dining table set up that is elegant and classy; two amazing cakes; a mouthwatering grazing table; macrame that will make your bohemian heart sing; and some wonderful wedding stationery, this shoot is going to leave you so inspired. We especially love the colour combination and how this has been used in perfect unison throughout each element of the shoot. Jenna and the suppliers involved have not been scared to use white as the focal point and we’re so pleased they have as it certainly adds to the bohemian elegance of the shoot. It also showcases the soft pinks and nude tones of the flowers and decor elements beautifully. Not to mention the brides stunning hair colour.

Jenna talks us through the shoot and all of the awesome suppliers involved. Make sure you check out the table plan which was printed onto a piece of silk and draped over a ladder – such a beautiful and unique idea.

Enjoy this one peeps – it’s a keeper!

Light, Airy, Delicacy and Intricacy…..

The Old Parish Rooms provided the most perfect backdrop, with its whitewashed walls and beautiful raw wooden floors. It’s such a light and airy venue, owing to the large church-like windows which flood the venue with lots of natural lighting. Maryann, of The Menagerie Lifestyle Photography, shot my vision with such delicacy and intricacy; really bringing the colours to the fore and utilising all that beautiful natural light.

Oodles of macrame were lovingly created and styled for the shoot by Rock The Day Styling, including an amazing macrame swing and a beautiful ceremony backdrop. Furniture was provided by Anthology Vintage Hire, with natural wood trestle tables and a vintage white dresser providing the most perfect backdrops for multiple styling setups, including a grazing station by Grape & Fig and a sweet treat table from Lucky & Co. Multiple styling setups were complemented by gorgeous silks and runners by Kate Cullen, including colours from her new
collection. Natasha from The Wildflower Wedding Planner assisted the Rock The Day team.

Amazing suppliers…..

Flowers were provided by Faith Gurel of Faith in Flowers, who utilised anemones, roses and fluffy astilbe along with a mixture of beautiful greenery. Faith also brought cherry blossom clipped from her parents garden to accent the ladder table plan setup I had in mind. For my stationery, I deckled the edges of the invite suite to provide a more organic, raw texture. I included silver leaf on various items, and even more silks by Kate Cullen. The table plan was printed onto silk and was draped over a gorgeous pair of ladders from Anthology Vintage Hire.

I really wanted to invite Fable and Moon to setup one of their children’s corners, and Sophie didn’t disappoint. Incorporating her beautiful mini teepee, table and a-frame, she styled a corner that any child would love to spend time in.

Chloe, the model, wore two dresses by Mila Mira provided by Rock The Frock; a full dress and a two piece, which included the most beautiful pink skirt. Her hair and make up were styled to perfection by Michelle of Bumblebee Bridal, who opted for a natural face and a complex, structured updo. Hair pieces were provided by Ps. With Love and veils, including a gorgeous, fluid cape, from Sash & Veil.
