If you had the chance to go to any music festival, which one would it be and why?
Wilderness Festival and Burning Man!
What made you decide to go into wedding photography?
I’ve always loved photography and dabbled in it when I was a teenager. I came across a wedding blog years ago and really loved the photography, and I thought “I could do that!” I went straight onto Amazon and bought my first lens and started practising!
How would you best describe your photography style?
Natural, relaxed and honest
What do you love the most about capturing weddings?
I love that every wedding is different, the people I get to meet, and the fun and natural moments I get to capture – there’s really nothing like it!
In four words, please describe your ideal couple?
Fun loving, free spirited, authentic and relaxed
What are the must have wedding photos that you feel every couple need?
Couple photos, have at least 20 minutes to get away from it all and images of the people they care about. Natural candids are always so much fun to shoot too!
Tell us about the different packages you offer?
I offer full day coverage, which is around 9 hours. Additional hours can be purchased if you’d like me there earlier and/or later.
Posed Family Photos, Yes or No?
Yes! I like to keep them between 8-10 photos so you have more time to mingle, chat to your guests and enjoy yourselves!
If our readers were to book you for their wedding, what sort of service can they expect?
I offer photography and videography services. When I photograph, my sister comes along and films, and we work really well as a team.
Once booked in, I send my couples a lovely wedding day planning guide, which is full of helpful tips, tricks and advice to get the best photographs from your day. I can also give you some great recommendations for other suppliers who I’ve loved working alongside.
For all day coverage, I arrive 2 hours before the ceremony to capture you getting ready, along with you spending time with your loved ones. If your other half is getting ready close by, I can pop over and capture that too but I always recommend a second photographer if you’re further apart! I stay until 30 minutes after your first dance, but there’s an option if you’d like me to stay longer at an additional cost.
I aim to have your full wedding gallery ready in 4 weeks, with an online gallery that you can share with friends and family. A lovely box with your USB and a surprise comes soon after!
What the best piece of advice you can give couples when searching for a wedding photographer?
Find a photographer whose work you love, and gets your vision for the day, but also someone you get along with! Ask as many questions as you want, and chat over Skype/Facetime if you can’t meet up.
