Oh do I love today’s styled shoot. It is a wonderful mix of eclectic wedding decor, bohemian bridal style, woodland wedding inspiration and festival wedding vibes. All the things that make my heart sing! The cake by Cow & Cake is just amazing with its gypsy vibes and vibrant colours and we love how diverse the three different bridal looks are, each one matched perfectly to the individuality of the 3 beautiful female models.

Captured by Luke Holroyd Photography at a gorgeous woodland wedding venue in Leeds called Applewood & Blossom Barn Weddings, this shoot really does showcase how much talent the north has to offer this wonderful wedding industry. If you are a bride planning your wedding in the north of the country, then I strongly advise you jot down these suppliers names because they all rock!

Luke Holroyd, Daisy Hoban, Claire Amelia Toole and Suzanne Oddy talk us through the shoot, their ideas and how it all came together.

Look out for the amazing flower crowns by Daisy Hoban. So very beautiful.

Ethereal Beauties….

Hidden in a small town in Leeds is a beautiful woodland venue, Applewood & Blossom Barn Weddings, the perfect venue for a bohemian styled shoot. A handful of awesome wedding vendors collaborated with the venue to produce an boho-inspired wedding shoot.

The images captured by Luke Holroyd Photography, a creative photographer based in Leeds, snapping badass weddings both across the UK & Europe.

Ethereal, Romantic and Boho Vibes…..

The dresses with their ethereal, romantic and Boho vibes was the look for our three brides, showcasing what The Bridal Emporium in Leeds city centre is all about. The dresses worn were by designers Watters and Eliza Jane Howell, both stocked in store for edgy brides to be who are seeking something other than the norm. Lots of tulle layers, delicate lace appliqués, floral beadwork and champagne and blush tones looking amazing in the woodland setting.

The florals created by the awesome Daisy Hoban is her favourite colour scheme using pinks, purples and yellow with injections of turquoise from the different scenes. It’s very bohemian and hippie and is full of life and energy!

The flowers symbolised a bold, bright, natural, wild, unconventional , and funky look. There is plenty of emphasis on texture giving things a natural look and make them more unusual. The second is shape, with love for the unusual free spirited shapes that accentuate natural lines and curves. The actual flowers used: moss, roses, dicot, sunflowers, stocks, grasses, Ruscus. And complementary coloured ribbons.

Boho vibes and floral magic, this gorgeous collaboration is adorable. And let’s not fail to mention the the vibrantly colourful pocket fold invitations by Suzanne Oddy Design. Her work is perfect for the alternative couples who would like their stationery to stand out. The suite is available in a variety of colours and the design and wording can be fully personalised to suit each individual couple’s theme.

Three Contrasting Looks…

Sophie, Tatiana and Chelsea-Leigh all styled The Bridal Emporium dresses perfectly. Catherine from Catherine Elizabeth Hair & Makeup Artistry created a simple and elegant look for our models, with soft skin tones and pastel colours which complimented the boho dresses and wild surroundings. Sophie’s romantic blonde hair, amplified with a burgundy. Tatiana has an amazing hippy look and gorgeous wavy hair which was amplified to showcase her sensational floral hair piece. Chelsea-Leigh brought the alternative rock style which fitted perfectly with gown.
