Hello! I'm Frances, a professionally trained bridal and editorial hair and makeup artist working across the South of England and covering many chateaus in France. Having been in the industry for almost 8 years my previous clientele have included brides, models, actors, presenters, singers and members of the aristocracy primarily throughout Hampshire (New Forest), Dorset, Surrey, West Sussex, Wiltshire, London & France. A regular contributor to national and international wedding magazines and blogs; including high-end fashion editorials for Sunseeker lifestyle magazine and royal milliner Vivien Sheriff – my work has been seen across the world and celebrated for its versatility and emphasis on natural beauty. I have been lucky enough to work and train at the highest level of expertise and have been a student of The Kristina Gasperas Academy, Jo Irving of Jo Loves Hair fame and The Bridal Stylists whom I currently contract for.

Bio Trial & Info...

Ok, first let’s take the stress off of the term ‘bridal’ hair and makeup. I’m a strong believer in the fact that your style doesn’t and shouldn’t change just because you’re a bride. Love a soft wave? Then go for it! Like a touch of lippy? Yay, why the hell not! As your personal hair and makeup artist I always aim to ensure there is a clear, and seamless transition throughout the preparation stage of your wedding without it feeling too structured and managed. I have a wealth of experience in all dress fastenings and veil sets, so any pressure can be taken off.  And of course I can provide any last minute touch ups you may require or request.

Consultation trials usually take place 6 weeks before the big day and are held at my home studio in Lymington, near the New Forest. The studio has the perfect lighting and space for friends and family to come along. I wholeheartedly believe in offering a high quality service completely tailored, so during the trial we will discuss your vision.  You should allow up to 1.5 hours for a makeup trial, or 3 hours if including hair.
