Escheat Farm is an exclusive country garden wedding venue perfect for a truly unique boutique, festival, rustic or woodland style wedding. Situated a mile outside the quaint village of Lidlington, Escheat Farm occupies 2.5 acres of the beautiful Bedfordshire countryside.

The orchard, abundant with blossom in Spring, fruit in Summer and a natural tree-lined aisle is perfect for a blessing, celebrant or humanist ceremony. It twinkles with fairy lights strung through the branches and looks even more stunning with paper lanterns or jars of flowers hung from the branches. The landscaped gardens are brimming with flowers, a huge variety of trees and the 60 foot natural pond that was previously part of a medieval moat, with striking blue bridge leading to our tiny but perfectly formed island. The tree-lined paddock and meadow fields are the perfect space for you to customise as for your special day and can host any style and size of canvas. As Escheat Farm is an outdoor venue you’ll definitely need some form of tent, but whether you dream of a tipi, yurt, stretch-tent, marquee or a circus-style big-top you have complete flexibility to choose! We also give you complete flexibility on your choice of caterers & bar setup and would never dream of charging for corkage - your day, your way!

We know that planning the big day will be a hugely exciting challenge for some but for others might be a little daunting, that’s why we offer a number of packages plus the option to completely customise the support we give you. As a minimum we'll make sure you know the all important components needed for a garden wedding and if you want our help with sourcing suppliers, helping you setup, creating design & décor concepts or hiring finishing touches we can create a package specially for you. We take a limited number of bookings each year to ensure we have the time to support you in the imagination and creation of your big day.

Whilst Escheat Farm sits in a rural location we have fantastic transport links by road, rail and air and are accessible within 60-90 minutes from London, Oxford, Cambridge and Birmingham (plus all in-between!. Nearby there is a wider variety of accommodation for you and your guests. Our recommended maximum number of guests is 150.
