Hey, I’m Elaine! Simply put, I want to tell your story. I adore photographing natural, real moments and emotions of couples madly in love in an elegant and timeless way. I love urban and rural weddings equally, so whether you’re planning an alternative city wedding in Bath or London, a tipi wedding in South Wales or intimate hilltop elopement in Scotland I’d be honoured to be there!

My Style....

When I arrive at prep on the morning of your wedding I have one goal in mind – to tell the story of your day. This isn’t just about how you looked on the day, but it's about how you felt. I want to capture all the emotions. I’ll keep things for the most part candid, focusing on the giggles and nerves in the morning, the stolen glances through the ceremony, and everyone busting a move on the dance floor when the party gets going. Most importantly, I’ll avoid cheesy awkward posing and traditional cliches.

It doesn't matter if your wedding is based in the city or the rolling hills, I use my artistic nature and architectural background to shoot creatively with composition in mind. My heart skips a beat at the sight of soft window light and I truly love those overcast grey days where the light is magical.

Creative but honest portraits...

That story wouldn’t be complete without capturing you both. I’ll steal you away for 20 minutes to capture the excitement and emotion following the ceremony. Together we’ll seek out some amazing locations to make some creative but honest portraits. Sometimes, if something unexpected happens like an amazing golden or red sunset/moody storm clouds or unicorn flying over I might come grab you for a few minutes. I'll say sorry now, but I promise it will be worth it.
