We can offer you two venues for a beautiful outdoor wedding on our organic farmland in North Essex.

Our Woodland Venue...

Teybrook Orchard is a woodland venue that is hidden away from the world, and it is perfect for an intimate wedding in Essex for parties with up to 80 to 100 guests. After a magical ceremony there is a large meadow area for your celebration with a covered area. You can also make a weekend of it as you will find 10 fixed dwellings on wooden platforms spaced around the site, providing accommodation for up to 36 guests. Accommodation includes six bell tents, two yurts, a shepherd’s hut and even a converted grain silo. You can also hire additional bell tents in the orchard to provide your guests with a luxury glamping experience, or tell your guests to bring their own tents, which they can pitch for a small £20 fee.

Water Meadows with Giant Hat Tipis...

Chalkney Water Meadows in the Colne Valley is hidden away amongst ancient woodland next to a picturesque river and a tree-lined lake. It’s a stunning location for an outdoor wedding in Essex, and you can enjoy exclusive use of the venue for the whole weekend. Your ceremony takes place on the pontoon by the lake whilst your guests watch from the hay bales. Then the celebrations take place under the giant tipis with plenty of space for bars, catering and entertainment. This is the ultimate venue for a Wedfest!

Our Glamping Accommodation

For accommodation we can build you a glamping village of 20 or more luxurious bell tents looking over the picturesque lake, and each tent can sleep between one and five guests. We also have Water Lily Lodge and Kingfisher's Nest which are great for the night before and make for a gorgeous wedding night suite.
