We are getting lost in a colour palette of blue, dusty pink, peach and grey in today’s beautifully put together tipi wedding shoot styled by Boelle Events and captured by Magda K Photography. The colour scheme, which runs through the decor brilliantly and works so well with the brown canvas of the tipi, was inspired by blue waves and pink sunsets found on the sunny beaches of Malibu…..

The pink and blue colour pallet came from blue waves and pink sunsets found on sunny beaches. Tropical flowers were incorporated to add summer vibes and bamboo details were injected to represent the laid back, easy going beach lifestyle.

Through the decor and styling of the bride and groom in this shoot, Boelle Events and Magda K Photography wanted to illustrate to couples that using elements of their personality and joint interests is a brilliant place to start for styling their wedding. In the case of this shoot, it was a love for travel and natural colours that led to the Malibu beach theme and we love it.

In today’s somewhat overwhelming wedding world, it’s so easy to get lost in the latest trends on Pinterest and Instagram. Couples can often get foggy with their ideas and forget to listen to what it is about them that really makes them unique. We love that this shoot is encouraging couples to bring more clarity to their ideas; to listen to their hearts and what makes them tick as a couple. That is by far the best basis for any wedding. After all, if Bob and I had never listened to our passion for festivals, this little blog you are reading right now wouldn’t exist!

Boelle Events and Magda K Photography talk us through the shoot and all of the suppliers involved. Look out for the GORGEOUS sea shell lace wedding dress, beautiful flowers and some amazing lotus flower plates – I want one!

Boho Beach Inspiration….

The inspiration behind the Malibu Beach themed tipi was to show couples that you can use elements of travel and natural colour pallets as the starting point for styling a wedding. In today’s wedding world it’s easy to follow trends and therefore forget to make your wedding a unique space to share your special day with loved ones.

These days it’s so easy to travel, and many couples have their most special memories from holidays and travelling experiences. It’s a great starting point for making something personal and fresh.

The pink and blue colour pallet came from blue waves and pink sunsets found on sunny beaches. Tropical flowers were incorporated to add summer vibes and bamboo details were injected the represent the laid back, easy going beach lifestyle.

The feature of the tipi was a tropical and floral hanging hoop made from pom poms, pink and white florals and palm leaves.

To carry on the ‘boho beach’ vibe into the shoot, The Roots Store created a beautiful colourful crystal headpiece and both models had wild and natural hair.

To add a surfer feel to the styling, Ivy Oak Design created a hand written surfboard welcome sign and a table plan with ombre watercolour shells to make the pink and blue name cards on the place settings.
